With a jam-packed entertainment programme and a fantastic pool scene, Mariners Club, Alcudia goes all out to impress when it comes to family getaways.
The star attraction at the Mariners Club is the pool scene. There are two pools out here – a large one complete with water features, and a paddling pool for little ones. They’re both flanked by a paved green terrace that’s dotted with parasols and loungers, and the whole area is bordered by palms and bougainvillea. Close by, little guests have got their own playground.
The apartments themselves are roomy and unfussy. Think tiled floors, whitewashed walls and simple wooden furniture, with sky-blue sofas providing splashes of colour in the living area. Best of all, they all come with a balcony or terrace as standard.
When it comes to entertainment, there’s plenty laid on here. Family competitions, bingo and live music are all part of the action. Plus, there are regular shows and a mini disco for young children.
Lastly, a word on location. You’re in a peaceful spot here, but still in a good position for getting out and about. It’s a 15-minute walk to the beach, and the nearest shops, bars and restaurants are just 10 minutes away.
