An elegant mansion with a stunning white exterior, the 4 star Gorse Hill Hotel is surrounded by pretty English gardens in the Surrey countryside just a few minutes' drive from the centre of Woking.
Gorse Hill is an elegant mansion in the beautiful countryside of Surrey. It has a peaceful location surrounded by pretty gardens, yet only a few minutes from the centre of Woking. Offering easy access to London and a number of local attractions such as RHS Garden Wisley, Windsor Castle and Hampton Court Palace; this hotel provides the perfect base to explore the South East of England.
Built in 1912 by esteemed British architect Edward Warren, Gorse Hill was once home to a number of well-respected Edwardian characters, many of whom made their fortunes in transport. Despite this building's busy past, this ‘hidden gem' is now a relaxed and intimate haven.
We stayed with our dog in the gate house. Quiet and secluded. Beautiful main building, very impressive.Cathryn M
